Making Fire and Bread with Xenia Women at SPACE gallery, Hackney

We tried out historical and modern firelighting techniques, then lit a central fire to cook bread and herb tea.

We shared stories of camping and experiences outdoors.

Xenia brings migrant, refugee, asylum-seeking & British women together for workshops that encourage English language practice & fun, meaningful two-way social integration.

The workshop was part of the exhibition Anorak http://www.spacestudios.org.uk/exhibition-programme/anna-chrystal-stephens-anorak/
